Resin bound surfacing is increasingly becoming a popular choice to use on driveways, paths and patio surfaces due to its low maintenance and natural appearance. Resin bound driveways are the method of surfacing where aggregates and resin are mixed together and applied to a prepared surface. This creates a permeable and multi layered finish resulting in less loose stones and a smoother finish compared to traditional methods.
When installing, we structure a new sub base which is usually made 100% permeable by using 14mm open textured tarmac to allow for surface drainage. Some resins can be applied over an existing surface such as old tarmac, or chip and tar bonded surfaces, which we can advise subject to a survey.
All of our materials used in fitting are BBA approved products and all of our resins are fully UV resistant which means that it will not change colour or fade and retain its quality for many years.
